    About Us

Hilltop Nursery School is here to help with your child's growth toward self-discovery and a lifelong love of learning. Our professional teaching team is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive place where children of different interests, needs and abilities can question, explore, make new friends and ... have fun!

Hilltop Nursery School was established in 1955 by the Union Congregational Church of North Reading to provide a preschool experience for the children in the community. Its governing board, the Hilltop Nursery School Committee, is comprised of six members; one member serves as liasion to Church Council. Hilltop's director provides overall supervision and experienced educators staff the daily operation.

A multi-service, nonprofit, nondenominational facility, Hilltop Nursery School is committed to serving the diverse needs of children of all races and ethnic backgrounds. We do not discriminate in providing services to children and their families on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, marital status, disability or sexual orientation. All children are welcome.

Philosophy

At Hilltop Nursery School, we believe that each child is a unique and special individual. Our teachers strive to create a wholesome, nurturing environment, with emphasis placed on providing the emotional support and encouragement which preschool children need to achieve their age-appropriate potential socially, creatively, emotionally and educationally.
